1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Keyword IQ's mobile application, website, Mission Control, opportunity-analysis tools, saved opportunity features, Founder DNA features, build-planning tools, subscriptions, and related support communications.

It does not govern websites, apps, or services operated independently by third parties, even when Keyword IQ links to them.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Markets, categories, audiences, problems, keywords, and other searches you submit.
• Founder DNA information you choose to provide, such as interests, experience, skills, goals, resources, preferred business models, and risk tolerance.
• Opportunities, reports, notes, and build plans you save or create.
• Messages and information you send when contacting support.

App and website activity

• Features viewed or used, searches initiated, saved opportunities, and general interaction events.
• Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, browser type, approximate network information, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and crash information.
• Subscription status and entitlement information needed to provide free or premium features.

Information from app-market and public sources

Keyword IQ may analyze publicly available or properly licensed app-market information, including app names, categories, rankings, ratings, review counts, pricing, release activity, and other market signals. This market information is used to generate trends and opportunity intelligence and is not collected from your personal device.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Generate opportunity reports, rankings, recommendations, pricing guidance, and build plans.
• Personalize results using Founder DNA and saved preferences.
• Save and synchronize searches, opportunities, reports, and product settings.
• Operate subscriptions and determine access to premium functionality.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Keyword IQ.
• Understand product usage and develop better features and market intelligence.
• Respond to support requests and important service communications.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, abuse, security incidents, and violations of applicable terms or law.

4. Artificial intelligence processing

Keyword IQ uses artificial intelligence services to interpret searches and Founder DNA, generate ranked opportunities, evaluate market signals, and produce recommendations. Information submitted for analysis may be transmitted to service providers that process the request on our behalf.

AI-generated results can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Keyword IQ provides decision-support information, not guaranteed business outcomes, legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, or professional market research.

Do not include unnecessary personal or confidential information in prompts, searches, notes, or Founder DNA fields.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: With companies that help operate Keyword IQ, such as Apple, Shopify, Google Cloud and Firestore, OpenAI, hosting providers, security providers, and customer-support tools.
• Legal and safety reasons: When reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect users or the public, investigate misuse, enforce agreements, or protect our rights and systems.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
• At your direction: When you request or authorize sharing, exporting, publishing, or connecting information to another service.

Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We seek to use providers that offer protections appropriate to the services they perform.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple. Keyword IQ does not receive your complete payment-card number. We may receive transaction identifiers, product identifiers, purchase status, expiration information, and entitlement information needed to activate and manage your subscription.

Apple's own terms and privacy policy govern payment processing and your App Store account. Subscription cancellation and refund requests are generally managed through Apple.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Keyword IQ, maintain saved features and subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain legitimate business records.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, whether you maintain an account or subscription, and applicable legal requirements. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies you.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and how you use Keyword IQ, you may be able to:

• Access, correct, download, or delete certain information.
• Delete saved opportunities, searches, Founder DNA information, or build plans through available product controls.
• Request deletion or correction by contacting us.
• Manage or cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple account.
• Control certain device permissions through iOS Settings.
• Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides that right.
• Appeal a privacy-request decision where applicable.

We may need to verify your request before acting on it. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, including security, fraud-prevention, transaction, and compliance records.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

9. Children's privacy

Keyword IQ is intended for founders, developers, business owners, and other users who are at least 13 years old. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Keyword IQ, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. International processing

Keyword IQ and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate measures intended to protect information transferred across borders.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Keyword IQ evolves or legal requirements change. The revised policy will display a new effective date. When changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, or another appropriate channel.
